The Alchemy of Grief is designed as a healing space for the griever and is a unique course on grief crafted through a psychological, spiritual, creative and personal lens.

When I went through my grief journey after losing my brother Brent in 2016, I struggled with finding safe spaces to heal. I was the wounded healer in need of healing, and I didn’t know where to go. Those experiences led me to publish my book on grief, Lamentations of The Sea (winner of the Silver Nautilus award in Death & Dying/ Grief & Loss), and its sequel, Transformations of The Sun. As my grief journey continued to unfold, I was inspired to create a course to hold sacred space for loss, and The Alchemy of Grief is the result of that.

Crafted with sensitivity, care, and wisdom, I hope to meet people wherever they are at in their grief journey and hold sacred space for them to process loss. This course aims to help participants:

• Better understand the nature of grief and how grief intersects with your unique being
• Gain insight into your personal process and find deeper awareness for your journey
• Make space for the whole of your emotional experience
• Use a variety of mediums to help facilitate a multidimensional approach to healing
• Help you find strategies and perspectives that transfigure and transform pain
• Look at how the language of the heart speaks to us in grief
• Shift the dialogue surrounding grief by viewing grief journeys as sacred journeys
• Integrate your loss by coming to a fuller perspective of yourself and how loss weaves into your personal story
• Make space to honor your whole grief experience from the dark to the light
• Help facilitate personal transformation through the ingredients of grief

The course is self-study and self-paced- like a creative online workbook. Materials will be available to you always and consist of 4 main sections with 5 individual components to help fully explore the theme of each section. Contents include teaching videos, written reflections, journaling questions, creative prompts, and healing activities- all have been tended with heart care.

Grief may be the hardest journey we ever have to take, and yet there is hope, light, and phenomenal love in the journey as well. The Alchemy of Grief isn’t about fixing or forcing grief’s natural process, it is about creating space to process your heart, find deeper insight and transformation, and keep mending as your hearts sees fit.
