Elise Darma – Take It To The Bank
This is for the business owner who’s ready to have their best Quarter ever.
It’s time to stop wondering how others are having record-breaking promos that seem perfectly timed, seamlessly positioned and drive a frenzy of buyers.
Heard of hockey stick growth? Yeah.
Read on for an important message that could change the trajectory of your sales this year.

JANUARY 7, 2024
BARCELONA, SPAIN (my current home, hello!)
There’s a perfect storm brewing…
Between the holidays and events that already happen every single quarter (that you can “newsjack” for your next promotion)…
And Instagram being the best sales tool out there for growing a fresh audience and closing those sales.
I’ve been tapping into both promotions and Instagram since 2017, and when I look at our numbers, I can see a clear-as-day trend:
Our best Quarters Happen When Running A Promotion Alongside A Major Event.
- Q1: New Years
- Q2: Spring
- Q3: Back To School
- Q4: Black Friday
The data is in:
More people turn to Instagram as the #1 place to shop – over all other social media apps and even shopping in store.
The data from Fohr, a marketing company, shows that people shopping on Instagram is becoming more commonplace than shopping in-store (71% on Instagram versus 43% in-store).
For business owners, this means your Instagram followers are literally waiting for you to put a juicy offer out in front of them.
Even outside of the popular holiday shopping period, people looooove to discover brands on Instagram.
They think their offer is weak (it’s not, it just needs better positioning).
They think their Instagram followers are ghost accounts (they’re not, but they need to see your compelling content).
They think they need to slash prices (you don’t, let’s not piss off current customers).
Maybe you’ve tried to put out a flash sale or promotion & run into things like:
- Last-Minute-Itis: slapping together a promotion last minute, closing your eyes and hoping for the best.
- Overwhelm-Osaurus: the mere thought of sales pages, emails, graphics – egads!
- Cricket-Chondria: memories of prior promotions that resulted in crickets – making you want to give up before you even start.
After running at least 8 promos throughout the years, I’ve discovered the difference between a successful sale and a flop comes down to these 3 keys:
#1: Preparedness
Starting the planning and creation process now (at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance of your launching your promotion).
#2: Positioning
Nailing why your offer is a no-brainer so that it stands out in the sea of people slashing prices or only running discount-based sales.
#3: Production
Creating key content pieces for your Instagram to prime your followers for your offer, long before it even drops.
