Session Objectives
- Review ECG basics.
- Recall the recent ECG screening guidelines.
- Describe the physiological makeup of the “Athletic Heart.”
- Recognize normal ECG findings in athletes.
- Recognize abnormal ECG findings in athletes and when to follow up for abnormal results.
The North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Dr. Ray is a current sports medicine fellow and adjunct faculty at the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated from the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 and recently completed his family medicine residency at University Hospitals Case Western Reserve in Cleveland Ohio.
