The Healing Circle is for anyone who wishes to turn everyday, mundane life into a sublime journey rooted in the love of Spirit.

In this Healing Circle, Grandmother Flordemayo will bridge the ancient and modern worlds, helping weave the human family together again, which Indigenous elders prophesied more than 500 years ago.
Please note that the teachings will be quite fluid. In preparation for each session, Grandmother Flordemayo will attune to the collective energy of those present and draw inspiration and guidance from Spirit.
There are themes for each session , though it’s not guaranteed that everything listed below will be covered; rather Flordemayo will teach as she feels guided, sharing exactly what’s needed.
What You’ll Discover in These 13 Modules
In this 13-step journey, Flordemayo will guide you through the insights, practices, and ceremonies you’ll need to create healing and wholeness from an Indigenous perspective.
This course will feature teachings, training sessions, and experiential practices with Flordemayo.
Each session will build harmoniously upon the previous ones, so you’ll develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles you’ll need to sustain your heart to access your spiritual gifts.
Module 1: Beginning Your Spiritual Journey With the Divine
The meaning of life has been a question for all of humanity since ancient times.
At some point in life, most people experience a feeling that there’s something greater than the world we inhabit. This feeling, epiphanic moment, or experience forms the foundation of your own understanding of spirituality.
So, how do you start your spiritual journey and begin to walk with the Divine Creator? In this opening session, Grandmother Flordemayo will guide you in meditation and prayer to help you understand yourself as a spiritual being, connected to all of life.
In this module, you’ll:
- Begin to enhance your capacity for compassion and love
- Develop a greater appreciation of being alive
- Discover how practicing spirituality leads you to your highest authentic self
- Learn the practice of keeping a journal as part of your daily ritual

Module 2: Developing Energy Cleansing & Clearing Practices to Release Negativity
Alongside physical reality there is an entire spiritual realm occupying the same space. Within this spiritual space, you have an aura and an energy field that surrounds you, which naturally absorbs energy from other people and your surroundings.
In this session, you’ll discover the importance of regularly cleansing your energetic field to protect yourself from the negativity and chaos that surround you and our planet.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- Exactly what your aura and your energy body are
- How negativity can permeate your energetic protection
- Why consistent spiritual cleansing is important
- Practices to help you clear your field of dense energies
Module 3: The Art of Creating Ritual, Prayer & Ceremony
In this class session, Grandmother Flordemayo will guide you through the process of ritual… and share why it’s so important.
Rituals involve repetition, patterns, and behaviors that have strong personal, healing value. They are spiritual acts and a significant aspect of many religious traditions and cultures. You’ll learn to create ritual out of your everyday experiences — to honor and celebrate life.

Module 4: Discovering the Power of Forgiveness
You’ll be blocked on your spiritual journey until you learn how to forgive…
In this session, you’ll discover why forgiveness is so important. Grandmother Flordemayo will be your passionate guide as you begin to release anger, resentment, pain, jealousy, or a sense of betrayal.
And, if you’ve caused harm to another, you’ll start to let go of guilt and shame.

- Why forgiveness is vital to your spiritual path

- A burning ceremony to undergo a purification process and let go of past negativity and pain
Module 5: Experiencing the Potency of a Fire Ceremony
In this class session, Grandmother Flordemayo will walk you through all the elements of a fire ceremony — one of the core ceremonies in many medicine traditions. They’re typically held around the full or new moon when the veils between the worlds are thin.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- That fire ceremony is a powerful practice to release unwanted energies and attachments
- How to prepare for the ceremony, set a clear intention, and gather an offering
- Step-by-step guidance for creating a fire ceremony — from what offering to give, to how to set your intention, to calling in Divine support, and more
- A deeping practice to make a tobacco offering
Module 6: Revering the Sacred & Divine Feminine
The Divine Feminine is the manifestation of the purest form of feminine expression. Recently, there’s been a rekindling of the need for devotion and commitment to the Divine Feminine… and the balance of both feminine and masculine energies.
A balance of both inherent energies is necessary to continue progressing.
In this session, you’ll find how, in reverence of the Sacred Feminine, you find love and respect toward every being in creation.

- How to honor every being of creation as sacred and filled with divine light

Module 7: Honoring Water as the Giver & Sustainer of Life
In the seventh session, Grandmother Flordemayo will walk you through the many powerful aspects of a water ceremony, and guide you with step-by-step instructions on why and how to honor this sacred element.
As an essential ingredient to all life on this planet, you’ll learn to give thanks to water, infuse it with written prayer, and bathe or immerse yourself in it for healing.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- Why water is thought to be sacred and holy
- Water rituals and ceremonies from a variety of historic, spiritual, and cultural traditions
- The aspects and power of a water wheel
- What water memory is
- Water immersion practices for healing
Module 8: Integrating the Divine Masculine for Balance & Strength
The Divine Masculine represents a spiritual, psychological ideal of masculine energy. It is the highest, most inspiring and truest expression of masculinity that is manifested through thoughts, actions and beliefs. It is inherent in all of humanity, not just the male population.
The sacred qualities of the Divine Masuline include strength and gentleness… leadership without ego… honor, honesty, confidence, diplomacy… and much more.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- What the Divine Masculine actually is
- The importance of the balance between the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine — in yourself and on our planet
- Exercises to increase strength and find balance
- Experiential practices including meditation and journaling
- How to use a medicine wheel
Module 9: Communing With the Earth Through Ceremony
The Earth element is the principle of stability. It supports commitment and confidence. Just like a tree, we grow both upward and downward with roots and branches. To honor and celebrate Gaia — Mother Earth — there are many rituals to help you form a greater connection with her.
Just like water, the Earth has memory and a spiritual connection to the Divine. Without Mother Earth there would be no life.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- Why Earth ceremonies are so important
- Some simple ceremonies to honor the Earth
- Details for creating your own ceremony
- Earth meditations and “earthing”
Module 10: Healing Emotional Trauma
In this session, you’ll explore emotional trauma and how your spiritual journey can help you heal. When we lose someone or something we love, or a stressful event breaks apart our sense of security, we can begin to view our environment and those around us as dangerous.
As a result, we may feel numb and disconnected and lose our trust in others. It can take a lot of time to heal this pain, and for us to feel safe again.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- What trauma really is
- How community support is very important for healing
- Meditation as a practice for healing trauma
- That you CAN experience joy, appreciation, and vitality after trauma
- How to make a despacho — a prayer bundle or offering — as a living prayer for healing
Module 11: Making Peace With Death & Dying & Working With Grief
The spiritual need of the dying is to find hope beyond the grave. People may find this solace through faith, religion, and spirituality. It’s important to listen to a dying person’s needs… and not impose your own fears, beliefs, or biases.
Grandmother Flordemayo will share her wisdom about the dying process and how to work with grief after loss.
During this module, you’ll discover:
- How to respond to the needs of the dying
- That the experience of grief can greatly vary from person to person
- Rituals to help you cope after loss
- The significance of crystal skulls

Module 12: Understanding the Significance of the Number 13 in Mayan Culture
The number thirteen is considered bad luck by Western culture, but for the Maya, it is sacred.
In this session, you’ll explore the number 13 and how it’s synonymous with spiritual connection with the Great Architect of the Universe.
In this module, you’ll discover:
- The variety of connections to the number 13 in Mayan culture
- The importance of numbers to the Mayan culture
- The use of staffs, talking sticks, and altar items in meetings of a council
- Create a collective prayer with the other course participants
- Step-by-step instructions for making your own Sacred Staff
Module 13: Closing Your Spiritual Walk Together — Ceremony of Life, Prayer & Our Sacred Walk
In this final course session, the hope is that you’ve gained another way of experiencing your own spirituality… and you have a tangible bundle of your own creating to remind of your time together. The dictionary defines spirituality as “the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things.”
Grandmother Flordemayo will guide you to find your own meaning of spirituality, and help you with huge life questions, such as… What is my purpose? How can I serve the greater good? How do I attain inner peace? How do I overcome negative emotions and obstacles?

I was truly blessed to meet Grandmother Flordemayo on a visit to Sedona, Arizona. My session with her was one I will never forget. About Grandmother Flordemayo
Flordemayo™, who was born and grew up in the highlands of Central America in a family of Mayan healers, was raised by her mother, a midwife. She travels the globe to share her healings and to foster a more spiritual understanding among humanity. She founded The Path, a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to preserve and distribute seeds for future generations (2014-present). She is also a founding member of the Church of the Spiritual Path (1998, 2008-2014), the Confederation of Indigenous Elders of the America (1995-2000), Institute of Natural and Traditional Knowledge (2003-2007), and the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers (2004-2014).
